Information

The District operates out of 1 Engine House located at 4535 Old Hwy 21, and protects 18 ½ square miles of Northern Jefferson County , Missouri .  The District has an ISO Rating of 5.  Jefferson County 911 Dispatch is our dispatch agency.

The District Has 3 Board of Directors that each holds a term of 6 years, 1 is elected every 2 years in April and are residents of the District.

The Chief and Deputy Chief work 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and they are on call 24 Hours a day 7 days a week.  3 Shift Captains, & 6 Shift Firefighter/EMT’s work 24 hours shifts, 9 days out of a 28-day cycle. 

Fifteen Volunteer Members are a combination of In District personnel that respond to alarms from home, Out of District Members that are required to spend 60 Hours a month (overnight) at the station, to routinely provide as many as 6 highly trained firefighters at the station at a time.

All Members are required to document 100 hours of training a year; the initial training period of 128 hours is required before responding to alarms.
